Close-Up Magic
Close-up magic is a more intimate experience where the magic happens right under the spectator’s nose (or sometimes in their hands)! This often involves magic using cards, coins, and other small props.
Close-up magic can be performed as a single show for a larger group of people (e.g. 10 – 20), or “walk around” style, where a few effects are shown to a single person (or small group) and then the magician moves on to entertain others. Alternatively, a magic booth can be set up where the magician stays put, but people come and go as they please (like in a carnival)!

Parlor & Stage Magic
Parlor and stage magic typically refers to the use of larger props that can be seen a little further away (anywhere from the back of your living room to a school auditorium)! This type of magic is perfect for parties, school shows, fund-raising events and special occasions. There is always plenty of audience participation and the duration and content of performances are flexible and based on your needs.

Magic Lessons
Personalized instruction for beginners or aspiring young magicians interested in learning the art of magic. Although there are plenty of online magic tutorials available these days, in-person instruction is more effective and definitely more fun! Lessons, which typically last 1 – 1 ½ hours, are entertaining, informative and affordable.
$40 for a single lesson or $125 for 4 lessons. Some basic magical props will be provided at no additional cost. Recommended for age 6 and older.

Dr. Magic is a magician member of the world-famous Hollywood Magic Castle, and has been practicing magic for over 40 years.
